HANOVER HUMANE WILL ONLY BE ADOPTING ME TO A HOME IN THE RICHMOND, VA-METRO AREA AND COUNTIES ADJACENT TO HANOVER, VA. I WILL NOT BE ADOPTED TO HOMES WITH SMALL CHILDREN. My Adoption Fee is $350. I was in rough shape when I came to Hanover Humane from a puppy mill. My coat was horrible and I was underweight and filthy. On top of that I didn’t trust people too much. After my friends at Hanover Humane Society cleaned me up and worked with me, I’m a lot more social now. I love to be with other dogs and like to run and play with them. I’ve also now discovered that I LOVE toys, and like nothing more than to drag all of them out of the toy basket whenever I get a chance. I’ll readily go up to most people for a quick pet, but I’m not crazy about being held or laying in your lap, yet. I need a calm quiet household and a patient human to show me what it’s like to be loved.
