Dasher - Lab pup boy's Story
Meet Dasher, our happy 13-week-old Lab mix pup (as of Dec 9th). He is cuddly, playful, sweet, smart, super friendly and full of love to give. He loves to play with other dogs, big and small, and is used to playing with our kids who love carrying him around and cuddling with him. He is not afraid to approach other dogs that are bigger than him, he is curious and loves to meet new dogs, approaching them very gently to figure out if they want to play with him too. At 22lbs, he is the medium sized pup of the litter. He is the perfect balance of playful and cuddly, enjoying one just as much as the other. He is definitely not alpha, letting his bigger sister Noel take that role in the pack. He’ll usually let his siblings eat first before he approaches the food bowl and is pretty accommodating to other dogs’ preferences and play style. It’s hard to believe that the strong, happy and thriving pup we have now is the same scared pup we found along with 2 of his litter mates abandoned in a box in a culvert at 4 weeks of age. He weighed only 2.5lbs, had not been weaned, had fleas, mange and worms, and couldn’t stop shivering. For the past 2 months, he has been treated for all these conditions at his foster home and under veterinary care and is back to full health, ready to find his forever family. We think he would do best in a house with another dog to keep him company because he really enjoys being near and playing with others. If you are interested in Dasher, the first step is to fill out an application at the link below. It is not a commitment to adopt him, just a means of introduction. Once we receive your application, his foster parents will reach out to discuss the process and plan a meet and greet.<br/>https://ffar.wufoo.com/forms/application-to-adopt-a-dog-from-ffar-plano-tx-copy/
