Dasher's Story
Meet Dasher, a three years old chi mix.

Dasher was found as a stray in Kentucky and came to his foster family on a transport right before Thanksgiving last year. He settled right in with the resident dog and tolerates small children well (with supervision) and found warm laps to snuggle in. Dasher is thought to be partially or fully deaf.

Dasher is mostly house trained and asks to go outside. He is crate trained and would do best in a home with school age children or adults due to his small size. He was toddler tested but he is too small to be left alone with a child that does not understand how to care for him Dasher lives up to his name and will make a run for it if not contained with an open door. He walks politely on a leash, but loves to roam and explore, so a fenced in yard is required NO EXCEPTIONS.

Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
