He is highly food motivated, which means he will steal a snack anytime he can. Dash is still working on his house training, but he is crate trained. He would also do best in a house without cats or small animals because he likes to chase them. <br/><br/>Dash will need a forever home who understands hounds and is willing to continue his training. Another active dog is also helpful because he loves to romp and play. This also means he needs a fully fenced yard. All our dogs live in foster homes, so a meet and greet will have to be scheduled with the foster family.<br/><br/>HoundSong Rescue dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. HoundSong Rescue also offers Fi Collars for an additional $100 fee. Fi Collars are GPS collars with many other features we find valuable when owning a hound. Our amazing adoption coordinators will happily answer any questions you have in regards to the Fi Collar and the dog you are interested in adopting.<br/><br/>Pet Friendly Services of Indiana provides grant funding, in the form of free discount coupons, to help shelters and rescue groups spay/neuter cats and dogs in our care through the Pet Friendly Plate Program.
