DARRIN's Story

Meet Darrin! My adoption fee is covered by Jeff's Fund! I will be happiest with another dog in my home! This handsome little boy came to us from our shelter partner in Mississippi! He's an adorable southern boy that looks like a hound mix. When Darrin is around other dogs, he loves playing, getting attention from people, and relaxing. On his own he can be more reserved about the world. So, if your dog is interested in being an playmate with Darrin he may be the one for you! Check out his video: Darrin is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Darrin or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
