Darla II's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Darla has spent the last seven months in a loving foster home in Mississippi where she's come such a long way. When she first arrived she was shy and unsure, but with time, patience, and gentle reassurance, Darla has truly blossomed and her sweet personality now shines through. She still may take a little time to warm up and has shown preference for women over men at first, but once you've earned her trust she'll be your best bud. She now adores her foster dad and even gives him little hand licks to express her love! Darla is great with kids and loves other dogs. In fact, having canine friends around seems to help her feel more confident so a home with another dog would be welcomed. Darla needs to be in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can safely explore and sniff to her heart's content. Darla is heartworm negative, spayed, and ready for her sleepover.
