Darla is a kind, affectionate girl who enjoys playing chase with other dogs, exploring the yard, and relaxing at your feet. She gets along well with other dogs and especially loves running and playing with them. She knows “sit,” walks nicely on a leash when she's feeling confident, and may occasionally jump up when excited—but she's never pushy. She is, however, not a fan of the vacuum! A calm and patient home would be the ideal match for her gentle nature. When meeting new people, Darla may be shy at first but warms up quickly—often within the hour. We will also contact current/past veterinarian(s) to verify if pet(s) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, receiving flea/tick prevention, and receiving heartworm prevention (dogs only). Personal references will also be contacted. Please make sure your landlord and/or veterinarian(s) have permission to speak with us.
