Darla's Story
Oh sweet Darla. This lovely seal-resembling pup is about 9 months old and weighs 30lbs. She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES other dogs, romping in the yard and toys, toys, toys!Another favorite pastime is gathering all the toys in her bed. Darla can't decide which she likes more - playing with her four-legged friends or toys, so she splits her time equally. She does well in the crate and settles quickly. Darla does get car sick on long rides or curvy roads. She has done well with the short interactions she has had with children. Darla would do best in a home with another dog or dogs as she loves them so. Darla is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention and her adoption fee is $300.

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
