Meet Darla!<br/>Darla would do best in an ADULT only home as the hustle and bustle of children still does frighten her. She needs at least 2 weeks to settle in and trust a new person, so patience is required, but the reward is priceless! When she warms up to another dog, she is very playful with them!<br/>Intake Story<br/>Darla was rescued from the Dresden property where 50+ dogs were hoarded, starved, and neglected. On the day she was rescued, just moments after being fed and tucked in for bed, she went into labor. We are a volunteer ran, foster based organization which means we do not have a physical shelter/facility for you to tour. If you are interested in adopting or fostering a dog - you must first submit an application. That can be found on our main Petfinder profile. Please ensure applications are completed in full and you do not leave out information. We are unable to start or process any incomplete applications. Application processing time can be anywhere from 1-7 days. Once approved, our team will send you a text message with next steps! Our adoption fee includes: -Spay/Neuter appointment (scheduled around 6 months old at one of partnered vetrinary clinics) - Four DAPPv vaccines - Two Lepto vaccines -Rabies vaccine -Heartworm test (treatment is included if found positive while in our care) -Microchipping -Multiple rounds of deworming After the spay/neuter appointment and completion of all required vetting, you will recieve a full copy of your dog's medical records for your personal files.
