Meet the darling Ms. Darla - a big girl and an awesome dog! This 5 year old Shepherd mix loves everyone she meets. Don't let first impressions fool you, though - Darla gets super excited to meet new people, but in no time at all you'll see that she's just a big couch potato! She most enjoys napping, cuddling, and being petted. If you stop petting her before she's ready, she will paw your hand to get more pets! As far as we can tell, this is as high maintenance as it gets with Darla. She's an easygoing walker, rarely barks, and likes to sleep in. Darla is great with kids, but can be picky about other dogs and cats. But if you have one perfect Darla dog, who could ask for more? Come down to ARF to meet this sweetheart!

An adoption application, veterinarian and/or personal reference, a home visit, and a $150 adoption fee are part of the process. All animals will be up to date on shots, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption.
