Darla's Story
Meet Darla!

She is a one year old...

Yorkie Doodle? Schnauzer doodle?

Not sure, but just another unwanted doodle.

Was her doodle energy too much?

Was the grooming too expensive?

Did the breeder say she was hypoallergenic and then someone had an allergic reaction?

Was she suppose to be a mini, toy size and got too large at 15 ish lbs?

We won't know. She was dropped off at Animal control in her plastic kennel, the dropper offer claimed she was just paid to deliver, when asked for her drivers license, she went to the car and never came back in.

Darla is a little reserved. She will need a go slow approach, she has loved before and it left her heartbroken, so she plays hard to get. Once she knows you are safe, she is amazing and loyal.
Darla was not socialized well around other dogs, and she is too playful for many of the dogs in her foster home. She needs slow introductions and would need to meet any potential housemates prior to being adopted. She would also do well in a single dog home.

Once she has settled in, she is all open... jump off the furniture, zoomies in the house, throw pillows in the air.. She is a bit of a happy mess! Keep in mind she is just out of the "puppy stage."

She loves her toys! She is very treat motivated.

We are still working on all of the basics: Crate trained, working on house training, going potty outsie and leash walking skills. She will need someone who can give her guidance and consistancy as she fine tunes all her skills.

adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms.
To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic Once approved, we will schedule a one on one meet and greet.
