Meet Darcy! This sweet little lady is sure to steal your heart. She may be a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll quickly choose you as her person and happily follow you everywhere you go. Darcy’s favorite things in the world are curling up in your lap, snuggling on a cozy bed or couch, and simply being by your side. Whether it’s a bathroom break, a walk around the neighborhood, or a longer hike, Darcy is always ready to come along, she’s truly an “anywhere you go” kind of girl.<br/><br/>Darcy gets along well with other dogs and is currently living in a foster home with three dogs and two cats. She’s still learning how to play and fully embrace life as a dog after time spent on the streets, but she’s making great progress every day. Her foster mom works from home, so Darcy hasn’t had a lot of crate time yet, but she has done well when crated for a few hours at a time. She’s also still working on her potty-training skills as she adjusts to life indoors, and she’s doing very well with continued guidance and routine.<br/><br/>One thing Darcy already has mastered is walking beautifully on a leash. She would do well in a home with other pets or as an only dog soaking up all the love. Darcy is a happy, sweet, and incredibly cuddly pup who will bring so much joy to her future family.
