Meet Daphne ?<br/>When our rescue team saw Daphne at the Dallas shelter, she was in the middle of a respiratory outbreak that had already claimed the lives of 17 dogs. She was emaciated, desperately sick, and we knew if we didn’t step in, she might not make it.<br/>With our rescue partners, we pulled her and got her hospitalized. She endured weeks of treatment, pushed through heartworm disease, and slowly transformed before our eyes. Even when she felt absolutely terrible, she still greeted the vet staff with a gentle tail wag, sweet as can be, even on her hardest days.
