Daphne's Story

Meet Daphne, and just LOOK at that sweet face!

This beautiful 2–3-year-old hound mix weighs 50 pounds and has all the makings of an amazing companion. She’s playful, affectionate, and somehow manages to balance having fun with being a total couch potato. Honestly, the best of both worlds!

Daphne is amazing in her crate, loves car rides, has great recall, and is VERY motivated by food. She knows her basic commands, is potty trained, and LOVES playing fetch. She gets along great with other dogs, is good with kids, and hasn’t barked once. Not. Even. Once.

She’s past the puppy chaos but still has plenty of fun and love to give. Want a dog who will happily play fetch and then curl up on the couch with you? Daphne might just be your girl!

Daphne deserves a family who will include her in their lives, give her plenty of love, and appreciate what a wonderful dog she is. She’s ready to be somebody’s best friend.

Now, who is going to fall in love with that face and give Daphne her forever home?

Adoption Info:

All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.

To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog

Please note:

The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network.
