Dante's Story
Dante is a large and in charge Labrador mix. He is over 100 lbs and is mildly aloof. He likes attention and is friendly but he can be leery of new people. He will bark when he is ignored or feels the need to get your attention. Dante is a big boy and strong on leash. He is very intelligent and already knows several commands. He will need a strong handler primarily due to his size and strength on lead. With consistency and routine he will likely do well in a home---our preference is that he go to a home with older children. He arrived as a stray so we have no history for him. It is unknown how he is with children or cats. He is interested in tennis balls but is not consistent with retrieving them......ha!<br/><br/>If you are interested in Dante please call to arrange a time to stop in to meet him and complete an application.
