Dante's Story

Meet Dante!

Dante is as sweet and playful as they come! At just over a year old, this happy young pup is still learning the ropes of being the perfect companion—and he’s growing into that role wonderfully.

A quiet and gentle soul, Dante may be a little slow to warm up but as soon as he feels safe, he greets everyone he meets with enthusiastic tail wags and plenty of kisses. During his time in foster care, he’s discovered the joy of toys and playtime with his foster brothers, and he makes the most of every opportunity to have fun.

But when it’s time to wind down, Dante is a world-class snuggler. Whether you’re settling in with a good book or catching up on your favorite show, he’ll happily curl up beside you and soak up the relaxation.

Meal and treat time are the highlights of Dante’s day—he celebrates with adorable bunny hops and little spins of excitement! This will make continued training with Dante a piece of cake!

Dante is ready to find his forever family and share a lifetime filled with love, silly antics, and loyal companionship. We prefer to see him in a home with older children (over 10). Dante really needs another dog in the home - it helps him so much with overcoming his timidness. This type of social facilitation is important to continue his progress.

Dante is neutered, vaccinated and chipped. His adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
