Meet Danny <br/>Danny is a 5-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix who came to us as a stray. Although we were able to contact his microchip owner, he was never reclaimed. <br/><br/>Staff describe Danny as a docile, mellow gentleman with a gentle heart. He's happy to get out of his kennel and enjoys spending time with people, but it's clear he's still learning that affection is a good thing. When you pet him, he seems a little unsure at first-as if he's wondering why someone is being so kind-but with patience, he begins to relax and accept the attention.<br/><br/>Danny walks fairly well on a leash, only pulling a little at first before settling into a calm pace with gentle guidance. He also knows sit on command and is easy to work with, making him a wonderful candidate for continued positive training.<br/><br/>This sweet boy will benefit from an adopter who understands that confidence takes time to build.
