Danny Buck McWoof's Story
THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN A FOSTER HOME WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE OF OUR KENNEL IN WOBURN, MA. ONCE A POTENTIAL ADOPTER IS MATCHED WITH A DOG AND GOES THROUGH OUR REFERENCE AND INTERVIEW PROCESS WITH AN ADOPTION COORDINATOR THIS DOG WOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO MEET BEFORE ADOPTION. IT IS OUR GOAL TO GET ALL LOCAL DOGS TO THEIR FOREVER FAMILIES WITHIN 7 DAYS ONCE MATCHED.

**Please read Danny Buck McWoof's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!**

Meet Danny Buck McWoof - a 1.4-year old, Beagle / Hound mix, who weighs 34 pounds (as of 3/3/26). This playful guy originally came from Mississippi before finding his way to New England. Unfortunately, his previous home can no longer care for him, so he's back on the lookout for a new fur-ever home! Bonus points if you "Adventure" is your middle name!

UPDATE from his new foster: Danny Buck McWoof, Danny,, Danny Boy, Danny Doodle, Danny Doodle Dandy...he is a silly, sweet pup with a long name and endless nicknames! Danny is a happy, spirited young guy with so much love to give. He loves to be near his people and will follow me around the house all day - he's up for watering the plants, folding laundry and anything the day might throw his way. He's a hugger and a wonderful cuddler. Danny loves his toys and will happily toss them about. He seems to like to play fetch - although with the snow we have only played inside. He loves his walks - he does pull a bit with excitement when he's starting out, we are working on that. He is VERY friendly and will want to say hello to everyone - human and canine - he passes so expect a lot of stopping! He also enjoys a nice long snuggly nap after a good walk.

Danny adores kids and plays really well with little ones. He takes treats very gently. Danny knows sit and place and is learning more everyday - he is very treat motivated, He uses a doggie door like a champ! Danny is wonderful in the crate - he settles right down. He is sleeping in his crate at night and doesn't need to get going until 830am!

He likes to be busy - an active household will suit him well. He'd be great with another youngish dog who likes to play, or good on his own with opportunities to meet up with some doggy friends.

Danny is a wonderful dog who's always on the move, like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh! This lovable guy would thrive in an active home where everyone is training for the Olympics because he's sure to win gold with his infectious energy! If you have other dogs around, even better! Danny would love to share his zest for life with another dog sibling (bonus points if they're young and spry like him), but he's also good on his own as long as he can have doggy friend hangouts!

He's amazing with kids and will help tire them out so you can finally go to the bathroom in peace! Who needs an iPad around when you've got Danny for entertainment!

As of 1/26/26, his foster shares: "Danny Buck McWoof, Danny, Danny Boy, Danny Doodle, Danny Doodle Dandy...he is a silly, sweet pup with a long name and endless nicknames!
