She is super friendly and happy and she's ready to go and do! Danish has had several roommates since her arrival and she's always had a grand time with them. Just the other day, we had her in one of our play yard areas and she was running and wrestling and having the biggest blast with 2 other dogs, who also needed to work off some extra energy. Danish is graced with the best disposition, truly loves everyone and makes us smile. She was very, very close a few weeks ago in being adopted. Having been in a foster to adopt home, literally the day before the family was going to finalize her adoption, she got into the chickens!! It's not clear if the chickens were at her home to be or a neighbor's farm, but her not being compatible with chickens resulted in her being returned. In coming back to the shelter, she has not missed a beat and continues to find joy no matter what is on her plate each day. We know her new family is out there and for this reason, we keep pushing and promoting her!! <br/><br/>She's beautiful and kind hearted, friendly and welcoming. We're calling her DANISH and we'd like to think, who doesn't LOVE a great Danish? Your low calorie Danish is being served up now and we can't wait for you to enjoy her. Found as a stray with another dog ...german shepard mix... the family opted to adopt the shepard and turned Danish into our office. In the brief time the family had Danish, she had access to and was a nice fit for the young son in the family. Under our care, Danish has quickly settled in and has already been in a doggy play group. Initially a bit reserved in her first play group, she has really blossomed and is full steam ahead mixing and mingling and really enjoying the play group experience. Danish is stunning with her black and tan coat- she's tall and elegant- and has a nice playful side to her. Our 50+ lb girl is content to hang out in your lap as you stroke and love on her and seems equally pleased at being able to check out her surroundings to see what's going on. We can see Danish in a broad spectrum of home environments and we think you'll agree there is simply a lot to love about our pretty, leggy lady! Please check out Danish today.<br/><br/>Facebook Update July 14: I recently had THE most amazing weekend. I was selected for a fast weekend getaway with a family of 4 kids + another dog and oh, what a blast I had! The family was beaming and so happy with how well I did with everyone (the other dog + the kids) but alas could not actually adopt me. Well, boo hoo! I'll tell you I was the fortunate one who got to sleep with one of the young boys (maybe 10yrs old) and he said I was so perfect. At this home, they had a large parcel of land and I was in my element working off some of my extra energy and bounciness and did a superb job in returning back to the house to come inside. Might I also add I was also terrific in the car ride?? My name is DANISH and I'd love to meet you! A busier home where I can be part of the action is the ideal setting for me.
