Dandre is an absolute sweetheart! Though he can be shy at first and may bark at strangers, he warms up quickly and just needs a little bit of your time (and maybe treats!). Once you give him that, he'll be your best friend in no time! Dandre is a typical puppy who loves to play and after playtime is over, he enjoys taking a nap and cuddling. He loves to play with other dogs and also enjoys the older/mellow dogs as the high energy dogs sometimes intimidates him and hides behind his people. He LOVES his people. He gets very attached and will follow you everywhere you go like a shadow. Whether outside in the yard, into the kitchen, or in the bedroom or bathroom...you'll find him right beside you! And if you let him, he'll be your lap dog and cuddle on you. He will melt your heart in an instant with his kisses and the way he looks at you with the sweetest eye contact. He loves playing with toys and being a puppy he is, he may be a bit mischievous and find something thats not a toy, but he listens well and can easily be redirected to a real toy for puppies. He's working on potty training but making good progress in his foster home and thrives on structure and routine. He sleeps all night without issue in his crate but will let you know in the morning around 6-7 am that it's time to get up so he can go potty and get his morning zoomies in. He loves attention and is a super affectionate puppy. He loves to go for walks and is doing great on leash. He looks forward to his daily adventures, though he can be shy in new areas, he warms up slowly after getting his sniffs in. He's very curious, as any puppy is, so he likes to watch and learn wherever you take him. He enjoys going to pick up the kids from school with his foster parents. Dante is working on lots of basic commands such as sit, stay, down, leave it, and more. He's absolutely precious and is going to make someone so happy.
