Danae's Story

Meet Danae — The Little Survivor with a Golden Heart

Danae’s story is one of resilience and renewal. Her mom had been on her own for almost three years, a survivor in every sense, navigating life on the reservation and protecting herself the only way she knew how. When rescue finally came, she gave birth while waiting for transport — twelve tiny lives born into safety just in time. This time, the cycle stopped. Mom is now spayed, safe, and finally living the peaceful life she deserved. And her daughter, Danae, is ready to start her own story — one filled with love, laughter, and belonging.

Danae is a young female, 5 months, with a short, glossy black coat and a spark of curiosity that lights up the room. She’s that perfect blend of all the favorites — Husky, Shepherd, Lab, Cattle Dog, Boxer, and more — a true reservation special with both brains and beauty.

When fully grown, Danae will likely be around 50–60 pounds, a perfect size for both adventures and snuggles. She’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, loves to play, and has an easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. Vaccinations are up-to-date, and she’s healthy, happy, and eager to learn.

Danae is looking for a home that’s ready for the fun (and work) that comes with a young pup — and one that’s truly forever. Her perfect match will have:
• A secure six-foot fenced yard for running, zoomies, and exploration or active apartment people
• Someone home often to help her master potty training and good manners.
• A commitment for life, not just a season.
• The financial and emotional readiness to give her everything she needs to thrive.

Danae has a quiet confidence about her — she’s gentle, observant, and full of heart. She doesn’t demand attention; she earns it with her steady sweetness and loyal eyes.

Danae’s journey began in uncertainty, but her future is wide open. She’s ready to trade the struggle her mom knew for a life filled with love, comfort, and her very own forever family.

Adoption donation is $375
Includes shots to date, microchip and spay or neuter at our partnered vets.

Applications can be found at caringhearts4paws.org

Dont forget to send required documentation
