Dalton's Story
MY STORY: Dalton came to CBHS as a stray

Dalton is a 1-year-old pit bull mix who’s equal parts smart, playful, and loving! Currently thriving in a foster home, his foster mom describes him as a very good boy who’s eager to learn and please.

Dalton would thrive in a home that can provide him with daily walks or another outlet for his energy. He’s an active young dog who enjoys staying busy. He absolutely loves toys, especially squeaky ones, and is a big fan of fetch. Frozen puzzle toys are his favorite and a great way to keep his mind busy.

He’s very food and treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. Dalton is doing great with potty training in his foster home and also has done well being kenneled with no accidents. He also rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash.

With continued structure, enrichment, and love, Dalton is going to make a wonderful, loyal companion for the right family! Interested adopters are encouraged to submit an adoption application at cedarbendhumane.org/adoptions/adoption-form

For more information on Cedar Bend Humane Society's adoption process please call 319-232-6887 or email adoptioncounselor@cedarbendhumane.org
