Dallas's Story

Dallas is an 8-year-old, 78-pound sweetheart whose world was completely turned upside down. After spending his entire life in a home, he was surrendered to a crowded shelter, not because of anything he did, but simply because his owner no longer wanted to care for him. With shelters overwhelmed, Dallas was placed on the euthanasia list, a fate that far too many good dogs face, and one that truly breaks our hearts.

Despite everything he’s been through, Dallas remains calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle. He has done well with other dogs and adores people. His current caregiver describes him as an absolute joy. He is low maintenance, easygoing, and full of quiet love.

Dallas is a sweet, laid-back senior boy who deserves a safe spot to land and a family that will never give up on him again.

**We are unable to respond to inquiries on PetFinder.
If you are interested in adopting Dallas, please fill out the adoption application at phpdr.org/adopt and email it to dogs@peoplehelpingpaws.org

People Helping Paws Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
At the time of adoption, all of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested as appropriate for age, given flea/tick and heartworm preventative treatment and micro-chipped. You must be 18+ to adopt and a Missouri resident. Check your HOA or lease for pet permissions. We do not adopt out dogs that will be living outside on a chain, in a fenced yard or in an outdoor kennel--that's why our foster volunteers work hard to crate and potty train our dogs so they can live inside as a part of your family! **Please note: PHPDR reserves the right to do home visits and vet checks on all dogs adopted through our organization.
