UPDATED 11/14/2025 Hi! My name is Dallas & I'm a 1-year old male beagle/lab mix! I'm not that big - maybe about 45 lbs. I'm an affectionate & happy fellow! I'm very, very loving! I love to sit next to you on the chair or your lap! I especially love to burrow my head under your shoulder! I just want to melt into you! I like to play, too, especially tug-of-war! I've got lots of puppy in me! I love zoomies! I could use training on manners still - I'll jump up on people because I'm so excited when I see them! I need work on housetraining also. I need a new home because my former owner's health is declining & she has so many dogs, that she couldn't take care of all of us. She wanted us to have a better life. On Aug. 10, 2025, I went outside for the 1st time & walked on grass. It was also the first time I wore a collar & had a leash on. Needless to say, I was pretty scared. But I was such a sweetheart through it all! I'm really making progress adjusting to my new life & I LOVE it! I'm meeting lots of new people! I'm in an NBR foster home now & I'm doing fantastic! I go outside when I need to! I love to play in the fenced in yard with the other dogs in the home! I ride great in a car! Please think about giving me a home! You will love me, I know!
