Meet Dale!
Dale the Dobey!
Dale loves food, treats, and humans. When he first came to us in January he was emaciated and had some frostbite on his feet from being left outside in the freezing cold.
In the stressful environment of the shelter, Dale seemed dog aggressive, and we thought he should be an only dog in his future home. However, he recently came back from being in a foster-to-adopt situation, and he met a small dog and did fantastic with it! He also met small kids and did great with them as well. The foster mom kept him crated at night, and he never went potty in his crate. She had him on a 100-foot-long tie out for outside time, and he also was great on that!
Dale was returned from foster at no fault of his own; she just wasn't assertive enough for him and just couldn't connect with him.
Dale is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
