Dakota Peach is a beautiful 14 month Husky/Heeler mix with an athletic 48lb build and the cutest little freckles sprinkled across her face! Dakota is the kind of dog who truly bonds with her people. Once she picks her person, she gives them her full loyalty and attention. She especially loves women and thrives when she can spend lots of time with her humans. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will be right by your side, Dakota might be your girl! She has a medium energy level with little bursts of playful excitement. Dakota enjoys adventures, walks, and exploring the world with her person. She also loves playing tag with dog friends who match her playful energy. A doggy sibling who enjoys a good chase would be a great fit for her! Dakota is extremely smart and enjoys learning. She would do best with someone who will continue her training and show her routines to help her channel that clever mind. When the adventure winds down, Dakota is happy to enjoy the simple things in life like squeaky toys, tasty treats, and especially pup cups! Noah's Bark Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Noah's Bark restricts pet adoptions to residences within a 30 miles radius of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions. We do not adopt to persons under 21 years of age. We require prospective adopters to meet both us and the animal, fill out an application and be interviewed. Adoptions are not done a first come first serve basis. Generally, applications are submitted online and approved applications are invited to a private meet and greet. Applicants are selected based upon the best match of the particular pet's temperament and needs. A meet and greet does not guarantee placement of a pet. If an application is approved we usually will require home check so we can ensure the animals safety. These pets are not for sale and the decision of where to place them is solely at the discretion of Noah's Bark. We reserve the right to refuse placement of our pets to any individual who does not meet our criteria. We also reserve the right to keep our reasons for refusal confidential within our organization. The welfare of our rescue animals is our top priority. There is a required tax-deductible adoption fee for each dog. The adoption fee is $300-400 for dogs and $500 for puppies (note some purebreds and smaller dogs may be adopted at a higher fee. Seniors and special needs pets may be adopted at a reduced fee). The adoption fee must be paid via cash, Venmo or Zelle. A spay/neuter deposit by check is required for puppy adoptions. The adoption fee is used to help offset some of the cost needed to operate our rescue organization. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed prior to placement. We have an adoption contract which requires you to return the animal to Noah's Bark if at anytime you should no longer be able to keep your pet. Pets adopted through Noah's Bark can not be sold, traded, given away or disposed of in any way. Although all of our animals are thoroughly evaluated, we cannot guarantee their health or temperament.
