Dakota's Story

Gotcha. You took one look at that beautiful face and you just had to click on meet me to learn more about Dakota. She's a mellow gal who rarely barks, likes nothing more than a romp in her yard, and hanging with her buddies at doggie daycare. She knows her name, come, and the all important stay. As with most dogs, calm intros are key, so older kids who can let her come to them will soon have a new best buddy. She gets a bit excited when you clip on the leash for a walk, but once underway she soon remembers her manners. If you need a ride along for a coffee run or to pick up the kids from soccer practice, Dakota is always the first to volunteer. Crate time isn't great time for her, but a plush doggie bed near you will do her just fine. So now that you have heard all the "good" news, we do have some not so good. Once sweet Dakota arrived in Wisconsin, it was discovered that she has stage 2 kidney disease. This sounds scary but she is young and it has been caught and is being managed with special food. A little extra for this precious girl but we PROMISE, she is worth it. We could certainly put any interested adopters in touch with our vet to allow for further information sharing and questions. You've already clicked once to learn about her, now just go ahead and click once more to meet her. You won't be sorry you did.

www.lucky7dogrescue.com/applynow
