Dakota's Story

She is a very sweet girl, that bonds quickly. She gets along w/other dogs and loves to play, an active home would be great for her, hiking, walking, playing w/another dogs etc.

From her foster home:

"Dakota recalls very well. Sits on command. Shakes ( most of the time) Enjoys having her chin scratched. She is a really nice dog and fun to be with. Dakota has done great around dogs male and female (big and little), cats, and kids. She is very good on a leash loves going for walks.

When she first got to the fosters she was growling about things she wasn't sure of, but the growling has been worked on.

She plays a little rough. If she starts to play rough at all, she needs is to be placed on a leash and she settles right back into normal behavior. Honestly she just gets a little excited at first until she is into exercise for a few minutes. She is definitely not a fighter. :) "

Beautiful Dakota was saved from the shelter the day she was going to be PTS, not for any reason of her own, she was in a small shelter that didn't have the room to hold her any longer.

She will be spayed upon adoption and is located in the central valley but can be shown upon an approved application.

She is a courtesy post for Caring Songs caringsongsrescue@gmail.com

Please contact them for an application to meet Dakota!
