Dakota's Story

Dakota IS AVAILABLE (updated 12-11-2025). To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/dakota-3 Dakota found herself homeless and living on the streets- confused and bewildered. Thankfully a Good Samaritan called a local rescuer for help and they were able to safely get her off the streets. Dakota had a microchip and we were hopeful her owner would return the phone calls and come pick her up- sadly that did not happen. Dakota is sweet, kind and loyal- the perfect companion. We have no idea why her family left her in her greatest time of need. However, we are excited to help her find her forever family! Could that be you? The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
