Female - 1.5 year - 65 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - NCHello! My name is Dakota and I am a 1.5-year-old, 65 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I currently need to be crated when I am left home alone.<br/>I love all people: men, women, and young children! Snuggles are my favorite so I am never far from a human. I love to run around with the small children I’ve met with my foster family and will happily welcome visitors to our home.<br/>I am selective with other dogs. I will need to either be the only dog in my home or, if there is another dog, my adopter must be willing to do slow introductions and be close enough to Charlotte NC to do a meet and greet prior to adoption. I love playing with my toys, especially large balls or soft toys! I will play a game of fetch with you and love having the room to run around outside, so my foster mom would prefer my new home to have a physically fenced yard. I have done well with cats!<br/>I ride well in the car and walk well on leash, though I am still working on not barking when we see other dogs on walks. I would love to find a family willing to continue my training and including me in adventures! I have already learned sit, come, and out. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense.
