She will need to keep working on this with positive reinforcement.
Dog social: She lives with a resident dog in her foster home and has been doing very well with him! She is very sweet towards humans and loves to play with the resident beagle in her foster home (they are inseparable). She has the perfect blend of energy when playing, but ready to snuggle when needed. Dakota is very well mannered in the home and responds well to cues. Dakota would likely be comfortable in any housing environment. She currently lives well in an apartment and does not get phased by people/animals passing by in the hallway or any outside noises. She is loyal to her humans and attentive to what's happening around them. She has been working on her leash reactivity, and would appreciate an adopter who can help her keep up with this work!

Dakota's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter, and she is eager to share her heart and home with her perfect match!

Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/

*** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org ***
