Dakota's Story

Brindle, boxy headed and a total babe, Dakota brings it ALL in an adorable smmedium (small to medium that is in doggo terms) sized package, at about 33 lbs full grown, you will have a hard time
not falling in love with! Dakota is a great portable little girl who can totally keep up with the big dogs too. With adorable little ears that stick off to the side and a wiggle that won't stop, she has been a joy at the farm. Dakota does well with other dogs and knows how to act like a lady, which means she is social but doesn't prefer to be part of raucous play like some of the young pups at the farm. She is great in her crate and just a marshmallow all around. Brindle never looked so good on her...and will on you too!
**Hiking feedback: "She interacted beautifully with other dogs and people, she was incredibly friendly to everyone, a real social butterfly! She loved socializing and would speed up if we got too far from the others. What impressed me was that she would periodically look back at me, as if to "check in", despite her focus on the trail and to be near the others".
*Sleepover feedback: "Dakota is a world-class cuddler. Whether it's curling up next to you on the couch or sleeping peacefully beside you at night, she just wants to be close to her person. She's a true velcro dog in the sweetest way.
We took a 5-mile walk every day, and she loved every minute of it. She was friendly with everyone we passed and is curious, social, and confident on the leash. She also does great in the car - calm, relaxed, and content".

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
