DAKI's Story

NAME: DAKI
GENDER: FEMALE
BREED: MIX
COLOR: BLACK & BROWN
AGE: 8 MONTHS OLD
WEIGHT: 30lbs
SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes
MICROCHIP: Yes

If you would like to give DAKI by a forever home, please go to
www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos.

Daki is a happy and sweet girl! She is good with people and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Daki has a rough start in life. However, it doesn’t stop her from loving and trusting humans. She can be a little shy at first. However, there is not a mean bone in her. It doesn’t take her long to warm up. Daki is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home. Daki started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her house training. Daki loves her trips to the doggie park and absolutely enjoys hiking in the woods. Daki is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog.

Daki’s Rescue Story

Daki and Daki were abandoned on the streets. They must have been starving for quite some time. They were so hungry and were so happy when a kind volunteer gave them some food. They quickly gave in and followed him to his car. They were from a litter of six puppies. Sadly, most people were not kind to them and wanted them gone. The volunteer mentioned that their four other siblings were poisoned to death.

TNR rescue groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer caring for them loves them and didn’t want to see them back on the streets. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 160 dogs waiting for homes. She really does not have space for another dog. However, she could not bear to see them suffering on the streets. She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life.

Daki had a thorough medical checkup. She had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Daki a loving home where she will never be left behind again.

Please watch Daki’s YouTube videos below:
https://youtu.be/Bg145gsI-zs - Daki & Daka eating
https://youtu.be/EN1tNPogi3w - Daki no food aggression
https://youtu.be/Cu-JDQGi-vk - Daki good with cats
https://youtu.be/EaEAfTCXG9g - Daki & Daka in Public
https://youtu.be/y9awqFgemrQ - Daki good with a child
https://youtu.be/ASs25jnW2Lg - Daki good with people
https://youtu.be/ASs25jnW2Lg - Daki good with people
https://youtu.be/xRs-NEe7aR8 - Daki Hiking
https://youtu.be/SOmhm3GPzVc - Daki Vet Checkup

If you would like to give DAKI a forever home,
please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application.
Please email your home environment photos to contact@adoptadoggie.org
Once we approve your application, we will get back to you ASAP.

Adopt a Doggie Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Adopt-a-Doggie/312107112299799

Temperament:
Energy Level: Medium
Ideal home environment: Both Quiet & Active
Is the dog good with strangers: Friendly
The dog is best with children of what age group?
