DAISY MAE

This sweetheart is DAISY MAE, about a 4 year old female terrier mix that was brought to us from a neglect situation and officially surrendered to HOPE on Feb. 11th of this year. DAISY MAE was brought in with 4 other hounds, who have since been adopted or are in foster homes. We are honestly surprised no one has come forward to adopt her yet! She is very sweet and loving with people, although it does take her a little bit to warm up to strangers. Being that the staff and volunteers are the only humans she’s been around for the past year, it’s very understandable. It doesn’t take her long though, a couple of treats and pets and she’s okay! DAISY MAE was originally pretty reactive to the other dogs, especially the females but since being here, she is coming around and doing better with other doggies. Proper meet and greets with any other dog in the home are of course necessary and we will test her with cats soon! We feel she would be fine with *respectful* children of all ages as she’s shown us no sign of aggression.
