Meet Daisy Mae
Daisy Mae is a young, sassy and smart hound mix looking for her forever home. She may be only 2.5 years old and 37 lbs, but she knows how to make her presence known and has no problem communicating with you. Because she can be vocal at times, she really is not well suited to an apartment environment. She'd really do well with a nice piece of property and fenced-in yard. She is a fun, happy free spirit who is always ready to play and equally excited to snuggle up at at bed time. She prefers a pillow and is a back sleeper, paws in the air and all. She is very emotionally attuned. If you’re having a bad moment or a tear may shed, she’s right there to snuggle up to reassure you that she’s there for you. From her funny expressions to warm hugs, she’d be a great family dog. She’d do well with a calm dog (definitely not a good match with an alpha) or wouldn't mind being an only dog as she loves attention.
She is fully house trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. If you are looking for a love and loyal companion, Daisy is your girl!
