Daisy Mae's Story

"Daisy Mae is a sweet, good-natured, affectionate girl who will be first in line for belly rubs and is glad to soak up all the attention you want to give her. Her happy place is where her people are. As much as she loves her humans, she is equally fond of her canine foster siblings. She plays well with dogs of all sizes, even smalls! She is also respectful of cats. Daisy Mae is 2-3 years old, 67 lbs, and house/crate trained at her foster home. We are seeking a home for Daisy with another friendly, canine companion.

She came to MHCR from Texas, where she lived in a backyard inside of a hole and whelped puppies. Thankfully, her family surrendered her in an attempt to also get rid of the puppies (they went to another rescue). Daisy was greeted in CO by a loving foster home who also happened to be a groomer. The transformation in just a few short hours was remarkable. Once Daisy was free from the chains of her unkept coat, the emotional and physical healing began and this lovely girl blossomed."

Daisy Mae is being fostered in Mead, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/daisy-mae/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
