Daisy Lee

Think "mini-sized" for Daisy Lee, at only 19 lbs. Sweet little Daisy Lee is a shar-pei who was likely the runt of the litter, and is now about 2-3 yrs old, VERY active and playful, loves other dogs who want to play all the time and also loves children, but NOT CATS. She would really benefit from a secure fenced yard (no invisible fences) with no gaps for her to slip through...she's fast and an "escape artist" so for that reason she should not be placed in a home with young children who tend to leave doors open or ajar. She will quickly slip by someone not paying close enough attention to get outside, does not come when called and is difficult to catch. That said, she is a busy dog who loves to run and do "zoomies" and she's lovable, but she is often initially nervous and jittery when meeting new people. An experienced shar-pei owner would be the best choice for her. No eye or skin problems- hooray for that! Her previous owner had no time for her with a new baby on the way, so she is looking for a new family to call her own. She is housetrained within reason, crate trained, spayed, current on basic vaccines, and will be ready for adoption on May 1st.
