Daisy's Story
ADOPT DAISY

Daisy is a loving 10-year-old coonhound who adores people, outdoor adventures, long walks, water, and following every scent she can find. She is affectionate, playful, loves to cuddle, and knows commands like sit, stay, shake, and lay down - especially when treats are involved. Daisy is house-trained, will whine when she needs to go outside, and is currently taking medication for a manageable leaking issue. She must be the only larger pet in the home because she does not do well with cats or medium/large dogs, and her strength makes her a better fit for homes without small children or elderly owners. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, people-loving best friend, Daisy is ready to meet you

Potty-Trained: Working on perfecting, goes outside
Behavior towards adults: Good
Behavior towards children: Older children
Behavior towards other dogs: Not recommended
Behavior towards cats: No
Crate-trained: Yes, if needed
Stairs: Good
Medical Concerns & Medication: Leaking, working on this issue with medication

As a rescue organization, we provide all medical care, procedures, and testing that are available to us while the dog is in our care. Adopters are responsible for ongoing preventatives, follow-up veterinary appointments, and any medications as needed after adoption. In some cases, adopters may also be responsible for procedures not completed while in rescue, such as dental cleanings, additional bloodwork, or other recommended care.

Please note that we work with volunteer veterinarians and partner veterinary clinics, and protocols may vary between veterinary offices.

All adopted dogs will receive their rabies and distemper vaccinations prior to adoption.

We offer a $50 adoption fee discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help offset the cost of veterinary exams, vaccinations (rabies and distemper), heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery (if needed), and any additional medical care specific to each individual dog.

At this time, Grey Face Rescue is unable to adopt outside of Minnesota. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We do not place animals in homes where current pets are not up to date on vaccinations or are not spayed/neutered. Exceptions may be considered for documented medical reasons as provided by a licensed veterinarian. Thank you for supporting our mission to reduce pet overpopulation.

Once your application has been submitted, our Adoption Manager will be in touch. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not hear from us within 7-10 days.

Thank you for your interest in adopting a Grey Face senior. We truly appreciate your support.
