Daisy's Story

Hi, I’m Daisy — your tiny shadow and professional snugglebug.

I’m a 6‑month‑old pittie/bully mix, about 22 lbs, and I’m finally learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. I came from a rough start — someone was giving me away online and keeping me outside in the freezing cold — but now I’m warm, cozy, and figuring out this whole “family” thing.

My favorite things
- Following my foster everywhere like a little duckling. You move, I'll move.
- Snuggling into blankets, pillows, and laps
- Belly rubs - I’m super ticklish! You’ll have to find that spot!
- Playing with my foster’s sweet little girl — she even made me my own spot in her room
- FOOD. Always food.

Puppy progress
- I didn’t understand toys at first, but by day four, I was playing like a champ
- I used to hate the crate, but now I curl up, snore, and sleep peacefully
- Potty training is finally clicking — I’m trying so hard!

Outside is… complicated
I’m timid outside and stick close so I can always see my person. Snow, rain, and wet grass? No thank you. But I’m learning I won’t be left out there, and now I sniff around and go potty like a brave girl.

Other animals
Cats are very scary. I don’t understand how anyone couldn’t love her. She’s just a little baby who needed someone to love her.” Now, it's your turn to meet me and get our furever started!
