Daisy's Story

Daisy is a gentle soul who has a sad story we will never know. She came to us from West Virginia. She was well fed and clean, but it’s obvious she wasn’t from a loving home. She doesn’t know how to play with toys or what a chew bone is for. She will let you hug and pet her, but isn’t sure what to do. She doesn’t know how to be affectionate, will retreat into her crate when approached to feel safe. She craves knowing someone is home and will panic when left alone. A home with people who are home all, if not most of the time would go a long way to helping her overcome whatever experiences caused her separation anxiety is important.
She is crate and house trained. For the 2 weeks she has been with us, she has spent most of that time in her crate, by choice, just being. She loves my other 2 dogs and gladly shares the dog bed or her crate with them. She loves to be outdoors, running and exploring so a large fenced in yard, with another dog to play with, would be ideal.
At about 60lbs, and somewhere between 1-2 years, Daisy is a gentle giant with soulful eyes and the potential to be an amazing family pet. She needs time and patience to learn how to trust and to know she won’t be abandoned. She wants to be your BFF, she just doesn’t know how.
If you think you could be the right home for Daisy, please let us know or share her story!!

Visit our website to apply online!
www.purrsnpups.org
