Daisy is an eight-year young lady who arrived in rescue along with her nine-year young mama, Priya, due to very difficult circumstances. They have happily lived together ever since Daisy was born. Their person who loved and cared for them, the person they depended on throughout their lives, recently passed away. As if that wasn’t bad enough, when he passed away no one found him or the pups for three days! Just imagine the trauma these little ladies endured during those long three days. A family friend took them in, but she lived in a community that only allowed each household to have one dog. She already had one dog. She was told that she had to “get rid” of Priya and Daisy or she would be evicted. How quickly their lives had been turned upside down! They have lost EVERYTHING but each other. It would be wonderful if these little ladies could be adopted together, but it's more important that they get a loving home. If you are interested in just one or both, either one of these girls will fill your home with love. Daisy is a little terrier mix (on her mama’s side) and daddy was part Beagle. she weighs 19 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is housebroken and walks well on lead. She has not lived with small children or cats. She gets along with her mama but may be selective about other dogs. Anyone interested in adopting her needs to own their own home.
