Daisy's Story

Daisy is such a special dog. We are hoping to find a home for her where she can retire and live out her life happy and safe like she deserves.
She is the sweetest Hound mix girl, with a Houndie personality, curious, looking for food anytime she can, loving to go on walks and sniffing and so friendly.
A 14 yr old Senior, who was found as a stray in June and no one came to claim her at the shelter where she was rescued.
She is in a Foster home and doing so well. We would love to find a forever home with a family who loves the senior dogs and would want to adopt her. Her adoption fee is sponsored.
Daisy is the most friendly dog, she just loves everyone she meets. She is good with dogs and probably would be fine with a dog savoy cat.
She would benefit from someone willing to give her multiple walks, take her on short trips in the car, (She loves car rides) visits to neighbors, a secure yard, and experience with the Hound breed is a plus.

She is healthy and her bloodwork was great. She has some arthritis in her back legs, but medicine is helping with that, and she loves to run around.

If you would like to meet Daisy, please email: wjvolunteers@yahoo.com with any questions about our adoption process.
Application: wjva.org/adopt
