Daisy's Story
Daisy is a sweet, cuddly girl who shows no indication that she comes from a tough situation. Daisy used to live with over 10 other dogs, but was surrendered to a shelter because her previous guardian could no longer afford to feed her. When we first met Daisy, she was around 27 pounds. Since being in our care, she has gained over 15 pounds and is doing great! She loves people more than anything and always wants to be in your lap. We are still working on getting her to play because all she wants to do is cuddle. She would probably enjoy having a canine sibling, but is just fine on her own! She is still working on learning commands and would benefit from leash training. Daisy is estimated to be around 2 years old as of 3/22/26.

If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to get more information. Or you can complete an adoption application which is linked on the main adoptable dogs page on the website. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately.

Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered.

The adoption fee is $250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each dog based on personality and temperament, not breed label.
