Daisy's Story

Meet Daisy! This adorable girl found herself looking for a forever home due to no fault of her own. She is housebroken, friendly and sweet. Daisy loves squeaky toys and going for walks. She rides well in the car and walks great on leash. Daisy has a partially torn cruciate ligament. Right now, she’s doing great — she’s not on any medications (just joint supplements), goes on daily walks with her foster family, and gets around beautifully. Our vets have advised that down the road, especially if she’s very active, she may eventually need surgery if the tear progresses. The good news is that Daisy is currently insured, and this leg would be covered at 90%, offering wonderful peace of mind for her future family. All of our dogs and puppies are vetted prior to adoption and receive the following care: General Health Exam Age appropriate vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella) Heartworm Test (Dogs Over 6 Months of Age) Microchip Spay/Neuter If interested in adopting, please submit an online application through our website at www.realdogrescue.org/adopt. Submitting a Petfinder inquiry will not submit an application on our website. In order to ensure that your application is submitted and received please complete the online application on our website.
