Daisy's Story
URGENT! IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDED for SWEETEST SENIOR DOG in the Denver Metro Area!

Sweet Daisy lived her first 10 years on a chain in East Texas with a small dog house for protection (shown in the last two pics, her rescuer put the coat on in the pic). She arrived in Colorado in late July (third and fourth pics) and went into a foster-to-adopt home where she was ultimately adopted and very loved. Unfortunately the adopter ended up in the ER in late November and is now in a rehabilitation center.

The adopter's roommate is threatening to drop her off at a shelter if we don't find her alternate placement IMMEDIATELY, ie TODAY.

Daisy is shy initially but an overall sweetheart and only 40 pounds. She is amazing with all dogs, all people, and even cats.

Please consider giving her a foster home, even temporarily, until we can find her a new adopter.

Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.

Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio.
