Meet Daisy

Daisy was rescued as a tiny puppy and adopted from our organization when she was three months old. When someone in her home fell sick, Daisy was returned to our shelter.

Unfortunately, Daisy was never well socialized with humans because her family was keeping human visitors to a minimum while mom was sick. Her family tried to make it work to keep Daisy by sending her to doggie daycare to help run out her energy. Thankfully, this made her very well socialized with other dogs. We have been working on this confidence issue since she came back to us several months ago, and Daisy is now a girl who is great meeting other people and she is doing well in her progress. A canine companion helps her tremendously. She MUST be adopted to a home where she will have a canine companion. Daisy does well with our volunteers and her personality has blossomed in the months she’s been back with us. She is a retiring, gentle personality.

Daisy is about two years old and weighs 35 lbs. She is spayed; vaccinated for rabies, distemper, and bordetella; tested negative for heartworm; and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She is also microchipped with a lifetime registration.
