Daisy's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Corgi-girl!Please Meet: Daisy!

Daisy is a 28 pound, spayed, 3 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi that has incredibly spritely energy. She loves long walks and thinking she’s in charge. Daisy is quite obedient. She knows commands such as: sit, crate, off, potty, and drop it. Teaching her new commands will not be difficult. She picks up on new things very quickly. Daisy loves to play fetch and tear apart stuffed toys. As a working breed she will require an excellent amount of mental stimulation. You can tell just by being with her for a couple of days that she very much wants to please and be rewarded for doing a good job.

It is unknown how socialized Daisy is with other dogs. She would likely need to be the only female dog in the house. On walks she has not indicated that she is interested in meeting other dogs, just barking at them. We are currently working on being a better loose leash walker. It is believed that in her first years of life she was the only dog in the house and might have been the princess.

Daisy may have a lot of energy but she loves a good snuggle on the couch. She is very affectionate and will cling to you like glue.
