This beautiful girl came to us after surviving freezing conditions in the South while caring for her two precious daughters, Dani and Darla. She was the most incredible mommy — protective, nurturing, and endlessly gentle. After enduring more than any dog ever should, including the heartbreaking loss of one of her babies to parvo, Daisy still chooses love every single day. Now, it’s finally her turn to be cared for, cherished, and spoiled the way she has always deserved.

We estimate Daisy to be around two years old and believe she may be a German Shepherd/ Golden Retriever mix — which perfectly explains her intelligence, loyalty, and incredibly sweet nature. The first time I saw her, I honestly wanted to cry — she is that stunning inside and out. Despite everything she has been through, Daisy is so trusting, so affectionate, and truly one of the kindest souls I have ever met.

She has done amazing meeting her older foster brothers and sisters and absolutely loves to play! She already knows “sit,” has wonderful manners, and is such a cuddly girl who just wants to be close to her person. Even more impressive — Daisy has spent so much time resting quietly in her own room while caring for her baby, and she has not chewed or gotten into a single thing. She is incredibly well-mannered and respectful of her space. Since she has been in a nursery environment, we are still learning about her potty training — so stay tuned!

Daisy is truly such an amazing dog. She is ready for her healing chapter — one filled with soft beds, constant attention, warm hugs, and a family who will remind her every single day that she is safe and deeply loved. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, affectionate best friend who has the biggest heart, Daisy is waiting for you.

APPLY AT
PROJECTHOPEARF.ORG
