Daisy's Story
Meet Daisy!

This gorgeous 11-month-old Aussie Heeler mix is looking for a new forever home! Daisy weighs about 33 lbs and is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea prevention — she’s all set for her next adventure!

Daisy is a super sweet, high-energy girl who loves life to the fullest. She adores playing in water and is happiest when she’s outdoors — hiking, swimming, exploring, or just running around being her joyful self. She’s the kind of dog who will go absolutely anywhere with you as long as she gets to have fun and be by your side.

She’s crate trained, great with other dogs, and LOVES kids — but a family with older children would be best, simply because she does tend to jump when she’s excited. She also loves tennis balls and would happily play fetch all day!

Earlier this year, Daisy was treated for a UTI. X-rays and a urinalysis confirmed the infection is completely cleared and no stones are present. However, she has developed a behavioral habit of urinating in her kennel about twice a day, even though she’s given frequent potty breaks. We want to be fully transparent so her future family understands she may need patience, structure, and continued training in this area.

Daisy is being rehomed simply because she is very high energy and needs someone who can give her more time, attention, and activity than she’s currently able to get. She deserves a home that matches her enthusiasm for life and can provide the adventure-filled days she loves.

We are in no rush to get her moved — we’ll take as long as needed to find the absolute best home for Daisy. She deserves nothing less. Located in Anna, TX.

Apply if interested:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RRTX/Dog
