Daisy Hound Mix New Smyrna Beach, FL

This is Daisy. She is an approximately 6 year old Walker Coonhound. Daisy was found on the side of the road most likely dumped by a hunter after having several liters of puppies. She was nursed back to health by what she hoped was her furever family. Daisy has come a long way learning how to live as a pet and no longer a thing. Unfortunately there were already too many dogs in the family for Daisy to fit in comfortably. Daisy is hoping to find a family where she can be the only dog or with an older dog, as she has already spent too much of her life being part of a pack and deserves individual attention. She seems to be better with males dogs. She does really like other dogs but other more dominant females wouldn’t be a good match. Daisy is a sweet, loving girl. She has been living with horses, a pig and a parrot and is non-reactive to any of them. Daisy loves to welcome her family home with her big goofy hound dog voice.

In order to adopt a dog from Sophie's Circle, any current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered, current on vaccines, and on flea and heartworm prevention. A home check will be done to make sure that the home is a safe and loving environment for one of our rescue dogs.
